Meeting Place: Orakei Train station carpark - Orakei Road. See photo below. Look for the Auckland Beagle Club Flag. There are toilets close to here -ask Ray for directions.
Route: The walk is concrete and metal paths. It is a gentle walk however there are some steep stairs to walk up and down- see photo below. There are many resting spots with seats along the way. A picturesque lagoon walk around the edge of the basin with views across the city.
Walk Time: Approximately 1 hour.
On leash/Off leash: There is an off-leash area (dogs must be under owners’ control and responsibility), and the rest will be on leash.
Cup of Tea anyone? Can I please encourage you all to stay and socialize after the walk. The club will be providing morning tea for members, non-members $5 donation.

Remember: It is advisable not to leave any valuables in vehicles, and to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for poor weather conditions and off-road walking.
