Meeting Place: Car park meeting area is at the end of Cureton St at the entrance to Anderson Park next to Morrinsville Recreation Grounds. Look out for the Auckland Beagle Club flag. There are toilets at the park. PLEASE NOTE- WE GO RAIN HAIL OR SHINE!

Route: A very pleasant walk following the river in the heart of Morrinsville. Highlights include a waterfall and a great playground for kids in the recreation grounds. A scenic trail through a forest with mature native trees- lovely and cool for a summer day. Mostly flat metal/dirt track and concrete suitable for pushchairs.

Directions: From SH1 it takes approximately 1 hour 50 mins from Auckland CBD. Take SH1to Gordonton Rd/State Highway1B in Taupiri. Take exit Gordonton from SH1. Then take Piako Rd and stay on Piako Rd and keep left where it merges into SH26 and follow signs to Morrinsville & Coromandel. Travel approx. 3.5km and stay on SH26 taking the bypass & look for Lorne St on your right. Travel 130m on Lorne St and turn right into Cureton St. Go to the end of the street and look for Club Flag.

Walk Time: Approximately 40 minutes.
